Chunhong Gong was born in Henan, China in 1974 and started her academic career at Henan university since 2000 and undertakes the undergraduate teaching of "Polymer Physics", "Special English" and "Composite Materials" courses. She is presently the director of Institute of Functional Polymer Composites, Distinguished Professor of Polymer Chemistry and Physics and principal investigator in preparation of functional composites. Her research interest is focused on synthesis of electromagnetic nanomaterials and composites, especially on large-scale synthesis methods and industrial applications of nanomaterials. Gong has been to University of South Australia for academic visits. By now, she has over 50 journal publications and trained 15 talented postgraduates.
